This study focuses on cancer survivors’ needs during the transition into a new normal life after the completion of cancer treatment. The goal is to explore ways in which we can improve physical activity and diet among cancer survivors and address their challenges to develop and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
We specifically would like to work with and for cancer survivors who self-describe as people of color to understand how social structures, stress and environmental factors impact health behaviors and subsequent quality of life.
Participants will be asked to complete an online or paper survey. Participants who can meet in person (those living in Massachusetts) may also submit an optional salvia (spit) sample.
This is a descriptive study. One in-person or online meeting for data collection may take up to one hour. There is no follow up or other steps to take to participate in the study. While filling out the survey, participants can skip any questions they do not want to answer. Participants will be paid up to $45 ($20 for survey and $25 for salvia sampling) for the compensation of your time to participate in the study.
Leave a voicemail at + 1 413 545 9922 with the best contact information (phone number or email address) OR fill the survey via the link below. The research team will reach you in 5-7 days to plan your participation.
