Connect with others in FORCE's Hereditary Cancer Community! Meet on Zoom and support each other! It's a great opportunity to ask questions or just listen in a safe, supportive environment. 

This group is open to all adults with a personal and/or family history of breast, colorectal, endometrial, ovarian, pancreatic and prostate hereditary cancer. It includes those with an APC, ATM, BARD1, BRCA1, BRCA2, BRIP1, CDH1, CDKN2A, CDK4, CHEK2, EPCAM, HOXB13, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, MUTYH, NBN, PALB2, PMS2, PTEN, RAD51C, RAD51D, STK11 or TP53 inherited mutation. Partners, caregivers and loved ones are welcome to attend.

Please note: This group is only open to LGBTQIA+ individuals who are looking to connect with fellow LGBTQIA+ people. We ask allies to support us by spreading the word about this group.

Do you have Lynch syndrome or a family history of Lynch syndrome? Have you tested positive for an inherited mutation in one of these genes: EPCAM, MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2? Join other young previvors who are at high-risk of developing hereditary cancer due to a family history or an inherited mutation (but have not been diagnosed with cancer), to share your story and discuss the unique challenges we face. Please note that group meetings are only open to young previvors around 40 years of age and under. Meet on Zoom and support each other. Group meetings are not recorded.

FORCE also offers separate support groups for caregivers and previvors.    

Topics may include:  

• Decision-making: risk-management guidelines, surveillance, medications, prophylactic surgery, breast reconstruction/no reconstruction 

• Work/Financial: medical/life/disability insurance, school/careers 

• Family: relationships/dating/marriage, sexuality, family planning/fertility 

• Coping: early menopause and other side-effects, isolation, handling the stress of decision-making, mental health 

Learn about FORCE resources and research opportunities to make informed decisions with your healthcare providers.

Stay current about national guidelines for cancer screening and prevention, available resources and research opportunities. Meet on Zoom and support each other.

This meeting is for previvors who have a family history of hereditary cancer, just learned about their hereditary cancer risk, as well as those who have known about it for many years. Join us so you can make informed decisions with your healthcare providers and take charge of your health. 

Please note that young previvors are welcome to attend our young previvor support group, too.
